Free guide to property tax refunds

 If you received a letter from us, we've identified through public records that you are due a refund.  For a variety of reasons, the county has erroneously overcharged your property tax. We help you to secure a refund of your overpaid tax and put that money back into your pocket.  The average refund so far in 2025 has been just over $3000.

We currently serve the Charleston Tri-County area:  Berkeley, Charleston, and Dorchester counties.

This is something that you can do and we urge you to do - on your own.  We give you the tools to succeed and secure your refund.  We want you to have more money in your pocket - not in the government's coffers.  We'll guide you through the process and help you with the 4% application. We help you for free.  There is no charge for guidance.  We understand that you might be skeptical and think that this is some sort of scam.  The application process is relatively simple and we strongly suggest that you do it yourself.  If you prefer that we do the work for you, then we charge 30% of the refund.  For example, if your tax refund is $3000, then our fee is $900.  There is never an upfront charge.  No refund - no cost to you.

Yes - there is a time limit.  The county will refund only the most recent two years of overpayment.

 It takes about eight weeks from the date of application to receive your check from the county.
